Starting or joining an artist-run gallery of sorts is a great thing to do. It will give you loads of experience,
and good things will come your way. By doing work like this , why it’s like being an altruist. Almost.
There are many ways to do this, a one off, once in a while, regularly, as a group, or just you.
Some things to think about: Try to find a wine sponsor. Make a logo. Get a business card. (Again)
Finding a free space can be both within a museum, in a public space, a shop front, your uncle’s barn, or a window or your studio space or even your appartment. Talk to a real estate developer, sometimes they have spaces empty for years. There are loads of spaces that can be artistically charged.
And then there are artist run art fairs like Supermarket in Stockholm.
